The EventCAT Terms of Service build upon the XL8 Terms of Service. Any sections not specifically addressed in the EventCAT Terms of Service will adhere to the XL8 Terms of Service. However, where the EventCAT Terms of Service provides additional or different provisions, those will take precedence.
EventCAT is a service provided by XL8 Inc. (“XL8”, “we” or “us”), located at 690 Saratoga Ave., Ste 100, San Jose, CA 95129. EventCAT services are divided into two types of service, EventCAT OnlineMeeting and EventCAT Conference. EventCAT services may be added, removed, or modified later.
EventCAT OnlineMeeting provides real-time translation for all participants, supporting over 40 languages on platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
EventCAT Conference enhances your event with instant translation, offering subtitles in over 40 languages. Participants can view translated subtitles on venue screens or select their preferred language on their personal mobile devices, creating a more engaging experience.
Your use of EventCAT is subject to these EventCAT Terms of Service (“EventCAT ToS”) and the XL8 Terms of Service ("XL8 ToS") (together referred to as the “Terms”). EventCAT is a “service” as described in the EventCAT ToS. If there is any conflict between the EventCAT ToS and the XL8 ToS, the EventCAT ToS shall prevail.
You may use EventCAT to translate contents for your mobile, computer, or other supported device (“Device”). To use EventCAT, you will need a Device that meets the system and compatibility requirements for the relevant services, working Internet access, and compatible software. The availability of service will vary between countries and not all services may be available in your country. XL8 is not responsible for and does not endorse any content made available through EventCAT that originates from a source other than XL8.
EventCAT, related support libraries, may need to be updated, for example, for bug fixes, enhanced functions, missing plug-ins and new versions (collectively, “Updates”). Such Updates may be necessary in order for you to use EventCAT or to access, download, or use content. By agreeing to these Terms and using EventCAT, you agree to receive such Updates automatically.
XL8’s Privacy Policy explains how we treat your personal data and protect your privacy when using EventCAT. XL8 may need to provide your personal information, such as your name and email address, to XL8’s Affiliates for the purposes of conducting day-to-day businesses, providing, enhancing, and promoting our services, among other activities. XL8’s Affiliates agree to use this information in accordance with XL8’s privacy policies.
EventCAT services are designed to let you upload, submit, store, send, receive, or share contents.
You have no obligation to provide any content to our services and you're free to choose the content that you want to provide.
