Sometimes, clicking the Download button didn’t work, and now the files appear expired or unavailable. This may also be because account settings are not configured to store the data correctly, leading to automatic deletion.

- Your data retention policy may be set to delete recordings immediately after the meeting.
- A temporary error with the Download button may have prevented files from being saved.
- Your account settings may not have been updated to retain transcripts and recordings.

🔧 Method 1: Adjust Your Data Deletion Policy
Why: Prevents automatic deletion of transcripts and recordings after a meeting
Steps:
- Log in to EventCAT Meetings.
- Click your account icon at the top right.
- Navigate to OnlineMeeting > Default Settings.
- Find the setting. When do you delete data after a meeting ends?
- Choose one of the following:
- Immediately
- After 7 days
- Do not delete
